Rob (he/him) is passionate about helping others navigate injury and persistent pain so they can return to the activities they love. He integrates manual therapy, dry needling, clinical exercise and Pain Reprocessing Therapy™️ where appropriate, with a focus on supporting meaningful, long-term change rather than short-term symptom relief.
With experience in Clinical Pilates, Strength and Conditioning, and Post-Surgical Rehabilitation, Rob brings a well-rounded and practical perspective to care. He works collaboratively with each individual to develop tailored plans that support both recovery and day-to-day function.
Taking a warm and personalised approach, Rob aims to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood. He places a strong emphasis on education, empowering clients with the knowledge and tools to manage their condition and support long-term health and wellbeing.
Outside the clinic, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, keeping active, and pursuing his interests in art and photography.
Clinical Exercise and Pilates: Whether supporting recovery after surgery or maintaining quality of life with age, he values pilates for its ability to develop strength, balance, and coordination in an integrated way. Because pilates equipment can be adjusted to be as gentle or as challenging as required, Rob sees them as ideal tools to build movement confidence and physical capacity at any level.
Persistent Pain and Mind-Body Connection: Rob has a strong interest in supporting individuals experiencing persistent pain. While contemporary research highlights the role of a sensitised nervous system, ruling out structural causes and pathology remains an important first step. His approach begins with a thorough assessment to help clarify what requires treatment and what may no longer need protecting. Trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy™️, Rob uses an evidence-based, integrative approach to support improved comfort, confidence and function over time.
Post-Operative Rehabilitation: Having worked across a range of rehabilitation settings, Rob is experienced in guiding patients through the process of regaining mobility and strength after surgery. He has completed advanced training in rehabilitation programming for the back, shoulder and knee. He combines this specialised knowledge with targeted exercise to help you progress through each stage of recovery, supporting a safe return to daily activities while building resilience for the future.
